Documents for the mission and the tourism C-type visa
Official mission – C / M:
Verbal note or official letter, addressed to the diplomatic mission or consular post of Romania to which the visa application is submitted, from the government or other authorities of the state of residence or from an international organization, certifying the official status of the applicant and the official purpose of the trip.
Tourism – C / TU:
- Voucher or firm reservation at a tourist accommodation unit and travel itinerary;
- travel ticket, valid until the destination, or the driving license, the green card and the registration documents of the means of transport, in the case of drivers, except for the companions of drivers who travel with them.
- medical insurance;
- Proof of means of subsistence, in the amount of 50 euro / day for the entire period, but not less than 500 euro or the equivalent in convertible currency, except for visa applicants proving the advance and full payment of tourist services packages regarding at least accommodation and food.
Documents required for the visit visa in Romania
The suporting documents for the Visit – C / VV visa are listed below by our lawyers in Romania:
- travel ticket valid to the destination or driving license, green card and registration documents of the means of transport, in the case of drivers, except for drivers accompanying drivers traveling with them .;
- medical insurance;
- authenticated invitation from the visited person, showing that he / she will cover the costs of executing the removal measures, if the invited foreigner does not leave Romania by the date on which the visa right of residence expires, visited is obliged, the means of maintenance and accommodation of the foreigner;
- proof of the means of maintenance in the amount of 50 euro / day for the entire period, but not less than 500 euro or the equivalent in convertible currency, if the person visited does not provide the means of maintenance;
- proof of the accommodation conditions, in the form of a firm reservation at an accommodation unit, of a deed of ownership or rent of a dwelling in Romania on behalf of the applicant, if the person visited does not provide accommodation.
Foreign family members of the Romanian citizen (direct spouse of the Romanian citizen, direct descendants of the Romanian citizen, up to 21 years old, ascendants) are exempted from fulfilling the conditions regarding the invitation, proof of means of subsistence and proof of accommodation conditions of the Romanian citizen or of his / her spouse, who is dependent on him / her, if he / she presents the following documents:
- the passport or identity document of the Romanian citizen, in original, accompanied by the declaration of the Romanian citizen regarding the insurance of the accommodation conditions or authenticated invitation from the Romanian citizen mentioning the insurance of the accommodation conditions, accompanied by the copy of the passport or identity document of the Romanian citizen;
In addition to this, the applicant will present documents proving the marriage with the Romanian citizen, issued in accordance with the Romanian legislation, respectively documents proving the kinship relationship with the Romanian citizen.
Supporting documents for other types of C visas for Romania
For the Business – C / A:
- travel ticket valid to the destination or driving license, green card and registration documents of the means of transport, in the case of drivers, except for drivers accompanying drivers traveling with them .;
- medical insurance;
- invitation from a company or public authority to participate in meetings, conferences, fairs or congresses related to trade or industry, showing that the company or public authority will cover the costs of implementing the removal measures, in if the invited foreigner does not leave Romania until the date on which the right of residence established by visa or other documents proving the purpose of the trip ends;
- proof of means of subsistence in the amount of 50 euro / day for the entire period, but not less than 500 euro or the equivalent in convertible currency;
- proof of accommodation conditions.
For the Transport – C / TR:
- documents certifying the applicant’s profession, as well as the activity to be carried out during the stay;
- medical insurance;
- the driving license, the green card and the registration documents of the means of transport;
- transport license and execution license.
The visa for Sports activities – C / SP:
- the invitation of the organizers to certify the medical insurance and the accommodation;
- the official list of the foreign sports delegation, specifying the quality of each member.
For Cultural, scientific, humanitarian activities, short-term medical treatment or other activities that do not contravene Romanian laws – C / ZA: the documents issued by the institutions one will attend.
